ASCII Assassin

The game was created during the GMTK Game Jam 2020 here on itch.io in just 48 hours by one person.  

When pressing a key you will fire projectiles based on the letter, each letter has limited uses so when you run out of ammo you are OUT OF (that specific) CONTROL.

How to play

Press keys on your keyboard corresponding to the letters around your character. This will move you in that direction and fire out letter specific projectiles. When the ammo for that letter run out the key to move/shoot in that direction will change.

Strategy

Beginning players may find it difficult to aim at enemies while avoiding damage. It is recommended to focus primarily on dodging attacks, as many weapons will hit enemies regardless of what direction they come from. I addition the player is much faster than most enemies and projectiles.

Tips & Tricks

weapons that are hard to aim are generally more powerful then weapons that are easy.

The boss will delete normal any piercing projectiles that hits it. However there is one weapon that can kill it in a single hit, but you must Figure  out what it is.
